Role Purpose
The Media Assistant will help capture and share the story of our events through photography, video, and digital content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being creative and wants to gain practical experience in media production.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Photographing and/or filming community events and activities
• Helping to edit photos and videos for use on social media, website, and promotional materials
• Assisting with live social media coverage (Instagram stories, Facebook posts, TikTok, etc.) during events
• Supporting interviews with volunteers, performers, or attendees (where appropriate)
• Helping maintain and organise a library of media content for the CIC
• Promoting a positive and inclusive image of the CIC

Skills & Qualities Needed
• Enthusiastic about media, storytelling, and creativity
• Confident using a camera, phone, or video equipment (own equipment a bonus but not required)
• Basic editing skills (training/support available)
• Organised and reliable
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
• No professional experience needed — just an interest in learning and being creative

Practical Details
• Expenses: Travel and agreed out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed
