The contract to deliver the Healthwatch Barnsley service has been awarded to Barnsley CVS for the period April 2025 to March 2029.

Healthwatch Barnsley is your local health and social care champion from Penistone to Goldthorpe and everywhere in between.

If you use health and or social care services, we want to hear about your experiences!

We have the power to make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to your feedback and improve standards of care. We can also help you to find reliable and trustworthy information and advice.

Herwatch is a magazine for Barnsley women based on some of the worries and fears you shared with us during our Women's Health project. We teamed up with local services and answered some of the questions raised with us. We also have some real life experience and some top tips to keep you healthy throughout your life course.
