Are you a charity or community group already delivering activities in Barnsley that are attended by working age people who are not currently in employment? Please come along to our consultation session, to help us design Phase 2 of the Pathways to Work grants programme. Please sign up here.
Date: Tues 12th May,
Time: 10am – 11.30am at Redfearns
(NB This is not just for groups who provide specific employment and skills support, but for everyone working in the community).
Following on from the work that has taken place over the past year for Pathways to Work, we have an opportunity to consult with the Voluntary and Community Sector to explore how charities and community groups could connect more people to the Pathways to Work Hub from Summer 26 to March 27. For example, there will be many existing activities in the local community that already engage with working age people who are not currently in employment. We would like to discuss how grant funding could benefit activities that are already taking place, perhaps providing some additional capacity to support people one to one during the referral process. The consultation session is on Tues 12th May from 10am – 11.30am at Redfearns. Whether you work with the general public or a specific group such as carers, young people or people with health conditions, please sign up – we’d love to hear your ideas. Please sign up here
