Barnsley CVS move into a new address.

On Monday the 27th of July, Barnsley CVS officially moved into a new office space. Their new address is Unit 3, Churchfield Court, Barnsley S70 2JT.

The new building is just outside the town centre and a ten-minute walk from Barnsley Interchange, which keeps them better connected with key stakeholders in the town and easily accessible for commuters.

As part of their new space, there is a community meeting room which accommodates up to thirty guests available to hire from £25 an hour. Social entrepreneurs, freelancers and individuals in need of an office space can also book individual desk spaces from £20 an hour.

Interim CEO, Steven Cotton, said:

“Our new office marks an exciting chapter for Barnsley CVS. It’s more than just a collection of desks - it’s a shared community space where organisations can connect, collaborate and grow together. We’re looking forward to welcoming partners, offering flexible workspace, and reaching even more people across Barnsley. South Yorkshire Housing Association will be also moving in downstairs, alongside Barnsley CVS's old neighbours Rotherham and Barnsley Mind, keeping local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise partners connected in the same building.

While Barnsley CVS has moved buildings, they remain the same team dedicated to supporting their local VCSE sector.
