Pay: £15.15 per hour An exciting and unique opportunity to work for a local charity supporting children and young people within a small team where your contribution matters. We are recruiting Sessional Youth Workers to join our Bank Stafff (Cover) delivering positive youth work with children This is an as and when post cover staff holidays or absence. You will be required to be flexible in your hours of work and there are options to work from 3pm onwards in after school clubs, evenings clubs and street based evening sessions and during school holidays. Session delivery locations are in the central and north areas of Barnsley. You should have experience of working with children and young people and ideally in a variety of settings. You will be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable and able to inspire and maintain effective relationships with children and young people. A JNC Youth Work Qualification or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential. You will be required to be flexible in your hours of work. The post is subject to enhanced DBS and permission to work in the UK checks.
