We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Welfare and Employment Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting individuals to overcome barriers, gain confidence, and move closer to employment opportunities.
The Welfare and Employment Coach will provide one-to-one guidance and group sessions to individuals seeking employment or further training. The role involves offering personalised support, helping clients develop employability skills, and connecting them with relevant opportunities. You will also support with welfare-related issues, ensuring individuals feel empowered and motivated on their journey towards work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored advice and coaching to individuals on welfare and employment matters.
- Support clients to identify strengths, skills, and suitable career opportunities.
- Assist with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.
- Deliver group workshops and employability sessions.
- Signpost to training, education, or external services where appropriate.
- Track progress and encourage to help clients achieve their goals.
Key Requirements
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or employment support (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage a caseload.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
