The residential waking night work role is designed for someone who has the passion for working with young people with extremely complex needs and often can’t access mainstream housing and homeless services.
The post requires you to work as part of a team to provide a waking night service in our 24/7 accommodation-based service to young people aged 16-25years.
Ensure that the health and safety of young people and the building is paramount, including housekeeping relating to general cleaning tasks and preparing for a new young person moving in.
To work using a strength-based approach to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Ensure they are adhering to project rules, licence agreements and support the development of their independent living skills for future resettlement.
The residential waking night worker is based in 24/ 7 services working on a rota basis this includes evening and weekends as required on the rota. The role will require some bank holiday working.
