Holiday Club: Reception and Membership Assistant

Job description:

With a busy and welcoming reception at the heart of Base71 Youth Zone, we’re looking for a Reception and Membership Assistant to support our Holiday Club to create a positive first impression for every young person, visitor, and guest. You’ll oversee the front-of-house area, ensuring young people are signed into sessions smoothly, with attendance and payments recorded accurately. From processing new memberships and maintaining the database to handling enquiries and supporting communications, you’ll play a key role in keeping the Youth Zone running efficiently. You’ll also support session delivery as needed, helping to create a safe, organised, and friendly environment for young people aged 8–19 (or up to 25 with SEND).

You’ll need strong organisational and administrative skills, along with experience in a customer-facing role. Confidence in handling enquiries, managing data, and working in a fast-paced environment is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience working with young people, including those with SEND, is desirable. Above all, you’ll bring a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service every day.
