Post Title: Family Hubs Event Support
Responsible to: Families Hubs Manager.
Supported by and working alongside family hub team members
Purpose of role
To assist in the planning of family hubs events, to support at the event on the day, to promote family hubs services and information and support families to become family hub members.
What’s involved?
• To assist in the planning of large-scale community events
• To attend and support family hubs planned events in the community e.g. Christmas events/ holiday activities/ community events
• Promote family hub services and information
• Support families to become family hub members
• To help in the preparing for the event/ setting up / event delivery / tidy up of events
Days required: Mon AM, Mon PM, Tues AM, Tues PM, Weds AM, Weds PM, Thur AM, Thur PM, Fri AM, Fri PM

Recruitment process: Following receipt of your enquiry, the Volunteer Coordinator for Family Hubs will contact you to arrange an informal chat. You will then be sent an application form and if you meet all the criteria for the volunteer role you will be invited to an informal interview.
Please note that an enhanced DBS check is required for all Family Hub volunteer roles.
