Post Title: Family Hubs Reception
Responsible to: Families Hubs Manager.
Supported by and working alongside Family Hub team members
Purpose of role
To assist in the promotion of family hubs information and services, support families to become family hub members, to provide a walm welcome to families and visitors to family hub buildings.
What’s involved?
• Welcoming families and visitors into the building
• Showing families and visitors around the building
• Answering the telephone
• Taking messages/ Passing messages onto team members
• Setting up rooms for meetings
• Clearing rooms after meetings
• Preparing refreshments (if required)
• Supporting with enquiries from families
• Promoting family hub services and information
• Supporting families become family hub members
• Supporting with some administration duties where required
Days required: Mon AM, Mon PM, Tues AM, Tues PM, Weds AM, Weds PM, Thur AM, Thur PM, Fri AM, Fri PM

Recruitment process: Following receipt of your enquiry, the Volunteer Coordinator for Family Hubs will contact you to arrange an informal chat. You will then be sent an application form and if you meet all the criteria for the volunteer role you will be invited to an informal interview.
Please note that an enhanced DBS check is required for all Family Hub volunteer roles.
