Ward Alliance Secretary

This is an unusual and exciting opportunity to work with the Central Ward Alliance. We are seeking an experienced secretary who can take minutes, circulate meeting papers and work with members including the Chair. You must be able to produce documents to a professional standard and commit to attending 2 meetings per month. This involves being part of the agenda setting process and attending the full meeting which is held one week after the agenda is set. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is interested in their community and working with other volunteers and local councillors.

Days required: Weds EVE

Skills and quaifications:

• Excellent literacy skills
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good timekeeping skills
• Good understanding of GDPR legislation

You will need to keep the circulation list updated to ensure Ward Alliance members receive their information on time. If appointed, you will need to commit to attending meetings which have been pre-set for the next 12 months.
