We're looking for volunteers to help us in our outdoor community garden. We're running lots of projects this summer and would like help with:
• Gardening - e.g., watering flowers and vegetable patches, planting seeds, cutting back the hedges.
• Community builds - We're running workshops to teach DIY skills, where participants can learn how to build seats, pergolas etc. We need volunteers to help with greeting people, getting refreshments, etc. You don't have to take part in the build, but can if you would like to!
• Creative workshops - e.g., painting bird-houses, creating bug hotels, etc.
• Building projects using and developing carpentry and bricklaying skills
We're really open to what you want to get involved with, and will support you to develop the skills you want to learn. No matter your experiences, skills, or health, you are welcome to come and volunteer. You can come for as much or as little time as you want to, and we'll work with you to find activities that are suitable for you.
