Visitor Welcome Volunteer
Hosted by: National Trust

Our Visitor Welcome volunteers create a positive first impression with a warm welcome; helping all visitors get all they need from their visit. You’ll also help us provide a personalised thank you, leaving people with a positive lasting impression.

Join our friendly and dedicated team, and meet people from all walks of life and form new friendships all the while volunteering at beautiful and inspiring locations! We hope that all our volunteers will enjoy new experiences and learn something new every day, build their confidence and experience, and see first-hand the rewarding results of helping visitors have a great time.
As a Visitor Welcome Volunteer, you will:
• Support visitors by providing them with information and guidance so they get the most from their time with us including driving the access buggy for visitors.

• Respond to situations to ensure we always provide a great experience for people – and often spotting issues before they happen!
• Do the little things that make a big difference, such as remembering the name of a regular visitor
• Gather comments and feedback by chatting to visitors so that we can continually improve
• Help things run as smoothly and safely as possible, including getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures
