Charity Shop Volunteers

Would you like to volunteer at our charity shop in Royston? We are looking for volunteers to help keep the shop floor organised, restock items when needed, and serve customers. It is a small shop so there is no heavy lifting required.

BIADS (Barnsley Independent Alzheimer's and Dementia Support) provide information, emotional support, social opportunities, and meaningful activities and events. By volunteering at our charity shop, you will be helping us to sustain the income which allows us to support those affected by dementia, their carers, families and friends.

Days required: Mon AM, Mon PM, Tues AM, Tues PM, Weds AM, Weds PM, Thur AM, Thur PM, Fri AM, Fri PM

Recruitment process:

- Meeting with shop manager
- Training

Skills and quaifications:

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, reliable, good communicators and who are confident when dealing with small amounts of money. We will do the rest and provide all the training needed.
