Vaccination Marshal Volunteer - Outdoor
Hosted by: Barnsley CVS

We are working in collaboration with the NHS and local CCG to help with the smooth running of the vaccination programme.

We have a main clinic running from Priory Campus, and often we can have pop up smaller clinics running at Apollo Court in Dodworth, Goldthorpe Medical Centre and Market Kitchen in Barnsley Market.

Outdoor Marshals will be based in the car park of the clinic they are assigned.

Tasks and activities will include:
Ensuring the smooth arrival on site of those coming for vaccination.
Signposting new arrivals to the correct entrance and direct traffic in the car park if necessary.
Identify Blue Badge holders, so they are parked as close to the building as possible.
Liaising with appropriate staff to address any issues that arise and escalating to the relevant on site person if necessary, whilst maintaining health and safety at all times.
Ensuring attendees respect social distancing guidance.
Identify attendees who require additional support and direct them as appropriate.
Manage exit of attendees, ensuring that social distancing guidelines are respected.
Working alongside another volunteer and buildings staff, you will ensure number limits in certain areas of the car park are maintained to avoid overcrowding.
Understand procedures in place if an emergency arises and staff need to be alerted.
