Barnsley Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Services is Barnsley’s only specialist sexual violence agency supporting people affected by sexual violence.

Various roles available including:
Counsellors
Client support
Social media
Reception
Stalls and stands
Group support

BSARCS believes volunteering is for everyone and expenses are paid.

Due to increasing demand for all of our services we are now looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed individuals to join our friendly and compassionate team please contact us if you are wondering if this is for you and if you have any questions.

Skills and quaifications:

6 months minimum commitment to volunteering is ideal.

BSARCS will provide training for successful applicants.

A calm friendly manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Please note: We are not able to offer counselling placements or similar.
