Hosted by: Beacon South Yorkshire Carer Support

Beacon South Yorkshire is a third sector care provider looking to expand its board of Trustees.
Our mission statement is to provide a service that gives help and support to families and carers of drug & alcohol users, as our specialism, and to carers of people living with dementia, disabilities, mental ill health, and the elderly.
To raise awareness & educate the wider community on related issues.
Our Trustee board exists to support our Funding & Services Manager, office staff and volunteers. We strive to ensure these teams can do what they do best, continuing to provide an excellent service for carers of our borough. We are a team of passionate individuals, with varied skill sets and extensive experience in caring for people.
Meetings are held bi-monthly and last for around two hours.
In return you will have the opportunity to:
• use your skills to ensure the smooth running of an organisation committed to helping those in need and their families
• be part of a friendly committed trustee body with colleagues who will value your expertise and the fresh perspective that you will bring to other areas
• to develop wider trustee skills and knowledge of the voluntary sector.
