Caring for Kendray have been supporting people in the local community throughout the Covid 19 pandemic and lockdown. We are continuing to support people going forward and are now looking for volunteers to assist us at our 2 allotments to grow fresh fruit and vegetables for the people we support. We are looking for volunteers to help in Kendray with the aim being to grow vegetables to give to families next year, and would be keen to have helping hands on board for this outdoor role.

If you are looking to connect with your local community or just want to be a friendly and helpful presence, we want to hear from you!

Days required: Mon PM, Tues PM, Weds PM, Thur PM, Fri PM, Sat PM, Sun PM

Skills and quaifications:

No formal qualifications are needed, just a willingness to help out the community.
For the allotment role volunteers will need to be aware they will be working outside in the elements.
Ability to do activities which may be quite physical (lifting and carrying, digging etc)
