Code Club Volunteers
Hosted by: Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council - Libraries

Does your mind buzz with ideas when you hear the words ‘Scratch’, ‘Python’ and ‘Raspberry Pi’? Would you like to help our young people learn how to get creative and confident with code? Could you give children the opportunity to learn code no matter where they come from or what level of experience they have got?

Come and spare a couple of hours a week to help Barnsley Libraries run our popular Code Club for children 9-13 discovering how to code for computers

• We don’t need you to be a computer genius as our young people learn fast and bring their own ideas to the club and we will support you to settle into your role.
• You will gain essential skills around working with children and computing which could be useful for future careers – and will also be a lot of fun!
