Health bosses in South Yorkshire are seeking the views of mental health service users as part of plans to improve response to NHS111.

The NHS Long Term Plan sets out an ambition for improving the mental health response to NHS111.

South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System is currently looking at how that is done in South Yorkshire and wants to talk to mental health service users to understand how it could ensure the future service could best meet needs.

Any organisation that has a mental health service user group taking place in June and July and could spare 20 to 30 minutes on the agenda are urged to contact Debra Cummins on to arrange for someone to attend and talk to the group about their experiences, wishes and views relating to this.
