Schools, After School Clubs and Building & Street Based evening work.
Fixed term funded until March 31st 2025, may be extended subject to funding to commence January 2024.
An exciting and unique opportunity to work for a local charity supporting children and young people within a small team where your contribution matters.
We are recruiting sessional youth workers to join our Programme Team delivering positive youth work with children and young people in schools, after-school clubs, evening youth clubs and detached street based youth work settings.
This is a part time post, initially starting at 2 or 3 hours per week with the potential to increase. It requires someone who is committed to working with children and young people and ideally with experience of working with them in a variety of settings. You will be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable and able to inspire and maintain effective relationships with children and young people.
A JNC Community and Youth Work Qualification or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential. You will be required to be flexible in your hours of work.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS and Permission to work in the UK checks.
