Snowdrop Project is one of the leading charities in the anti-trafficking sector that provide long-term support to survivors of human trafficking through advocacy, counselling, community activities and a house renovation programme. The Snowdrop Project has become a respected name in the field being invited to be part of the Anti-Trafficking Monitoring Group, speaking in the House of Lords and provide training to local authorities, police and health professionals in various locations around the UK.
In the last two years Snowdrop Project has seen an exponential growth in the provision of its services by 200% and has become part of significant campaigns such as Lord McColl’s Bill and informing and developing national practice.
We are looking for a dynamic therapeutic practitioner with experience working with trauma to join our counselling service to support survivors of trafficking recover from the experiences of their past. This role is suited to someone who has training, qualifications and experience of counselling.
You will become part of a small but vibrant team who are in the job to bring real and lasting change to both our direct beneficiaries and the national and international field. Your input will ensure that our beneficiaries, who are struggling with mental health, receive tailored counselling to the highest standard of therapeutic intervention and your insight from delivering support will impact national developments.
You will need to show that you have a proven track record of providing this type of support to vulnerable people; are approachable and trustworthy and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

Hours: 22.5 hours, permanent
Day of work: Flexible, must include Friday
Salary: £25,000 pro rata; 4% contribution to autoenrollment pension scheme; health, wellbeing and CPD package; 25 days annual leave (pro rata) +bh
