Rotherham & Barnsley Mind (R B Mind) have several different projects and delivers a wide range of services to support those with a mental health condition across the Rotherham and Barnsley Boroughs. The post holder will work independently but also as part of the team to deliver the provision of a counselling service to ensure service users overcome emotional or personal difficulties and enable them to maximise the benefits from their participation on the programme. In addition, work closely with other designated staff on wellbeing and safeguarding issues where appropriate.

The postholder will be expected to work with the Counselling Service Lead where required to support in the development and promotion of the service, the postholder will also be expected to meet agreed KPI’s and targets.


Working arrangements:

Currently staff are being asked to take a blended approach to their place of work, taking a flexible combined approach to home and office working. We request your working hours to be agreed on commencement into this post and having a flexible approach to the needs of the business and agreed by your line manager. Your regular place of work is subject to change, and you will be required to undertake necessary work to meet the operational needs of the organisation and, if business reasons demand it, to transfer to another place of work.
