We are delighted to advertise this post of Administrative and IT Support Officer for Yorkshire Cancer Community.  This post is currently home based. If there is further easing of COVID19 restrictions, we will consider flexible working using office space within the Wakefield area.

This role is to coordinate office administration and IT support for Cancer SMART, one of the key projects currently being delivered by Yorkshire Cancer Community. We are working in collaboration with the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance to raise the awareness and importance of early diagnosis and prevention of cancer across the region.

This role includes providing administrative support, producing correspondence and reports, planning and supporting project meetings for staff and volunteers and maintaining effective systems for all correspondence and the relevant databases. You will also be the first point of contact for the Cancer SMART project for many of the volunteers who have registered as Champions to promote this initiative.

We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding and a wealth of experience with all social media platforms which are our key methods of communication with the public.
