As we all find ourselves in this unprecedented situation and facing the impact of coronavirus, we want to make sure our communities are supported across the borough.

Barnsley CVS is working with Barnsley Council to mobilise volunteers to give their time, no matter how big or small to make a big difference during these difficult times.

We've been very fortunate with the number of people offering to help and registering to become a Barnsley Community Responder, and we now have more volunteers available than we currently need.

Due to this, we're not accepting new volunteer registrations at the moment, but we'll open this again in the future if needed. Please keep checking this web page to see if you're able to register. You can still ask for help from Community Responders, see the details below.

If you would like volunteers to support your services during this difficult time please provide us with a few details about your organisation or group.

The questions are designed so volunteers skills can be matched to your needs.

If you would like help from a Community Responder, please click here to register your interest.

If you know someone who needs emergency support from a community responder you can let us know here.

Please be responsible. The contact centre is not for general enquiries. We want to provide emergency help to those who need it most.
