In light of the developing situation with COVID-19, the Live Funding Event on Tuesday 17 March is postponed.
The difficult and disappointing decision has been taken to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the groups, staff, their beneficiaries and as well as the wider public.
It is felt given the number people due to attend, together with groups of people invited being in the at-risk categories, that going ahead would be exposing our community to unnecessary risk.
The groups in line for funding will not miss out.
The National Lottery Community Fund, Barnsley CVS and South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau will be in contact with the groups. Discussions will take place if projects cannot be delayed until the event is rearranged.
