Volunteer ‘Passporting’

What is a volunteer ‘passport’ and are they really needed?  The last 18 months has changed volunteering in lots of ways, and as recommended by Danny Kruger MP in his review last year called Levelling up communities: proposals for a new social covenant we will look at these ‘passports’ in more detail in an interactive workshop session.

Using recent research from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and a proposal that was worked up between several South Yorkshire volunteer centres and the NHS, we look at whether ‘passports’ will be useful to help volunteers and you as organisations.
